Sweet Baboo is possibly the most irratic musician we've ever had visit us at the Ivy League. Not that this should be taken negatively, far from it. The seemingly endless amounts of energy that Steve and his two backing musicians display is at the heart of Sweet Baboo's charm.

The three of them pile into our studio with an assortment of instruments and talk excitedly to each other between songs, seemingly unaware that we're even there. We just hit record and let them get on with it. When they're done we take them outside to take photos and they clamber around our garden like excited children; it's almost impossible to keep them still long enough to photograph them.

Luckily this child-like energy makes for three slices of off-kilter folk made by people very excited to be making music.
