It's alright for us, the Ivy League studio is a familiar place where we can relax, lie down on the sofa or hang-out in the garden. But for them, our small coach house must seem a world away from their LA homes and our patchy Welsh weather couldn’t be less like the Californian sun they’re used to.
But when they get behind their instruments any cultural differences disappear. Their rough-edged, high-energy take on punk rock is a language we all understand and the tiredness on both sides fades into the energetic sound of fuzzy guitars, pounding drums and girls shouting.
